For Individuals

Freddie Mac Mortgage Assistance

Whether you're facing job loss, reduced income, illness or other issues that impact your ability to make your monthly Freddie Mac mortgage payment, we're working to ensure that you are protected. Your relief options may include:

  • Ensuring payment relief by forbearance for up to 12 months
  • Waiving assessments of penalties or late fees
  • Halting all foreclosure sales and evictions of borrowers living in homes owned by Freddie Mac until at least June 30th 2020
  • Suspending reporting to credit bureaus of past-due payments of borrowers who are in a forbearance plan as a result of hardships attributable to this national emergency
  • Offering loan modification options to provide mortgage payment relief or keep those payments the same after the forbearance period
  • Extended payment deferral effective July 1, 2020 (Click here to learn more)

Skip-A-Payment (credit card)

Credit card customers of The Peoples Community Bank who have not been past due two or more times in the past twelve months are eligible to skip-a-payment* in May. This means that you have no required minimum payment and will not be considered past due with the credit bureaus. Finance (interest) charges will continue to accrue. 

Safe Deposit Boxes

Customers with safe deposit boxes can access their boxes during normal business hours. We recommend calling ahead to make an appointment and ask that customers wear a mask and gloves. If you do not have a mask and gloves we can provide them.

For Businesses

Paycheck Protection Program

The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) is a federal loan program through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) that is aimed at helping small businesses, who have been impacted by COVID-19, to retain their workforce. As an SBA Lender, you can make application for this program through us. Due to the high demand for PPP loans, we are focusing on assisting only current business customers of The Peoples Community Bank at this time.

Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL)

If you are a business owner experiencing financial hardship directly or indirectly related to Coronavirus (COVID-19) you may be eligible for disaster assistance through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The SBA is offering low-interest federal disaster relief loans of up to $10,000 for working capital to help businesses bridge the gap during this challenging and uncertain time. Click here to learn more or apply for an EIDL loan with the SBA.
